Certainly Guy has no interest in such things, it's just for us three: Luther, you and me! :D

That reminds me of little piglets, quarreling about getting their tit from their mother...
Image
These pigs are entirely made of straw, size like the original. It is part of a competition in the county, which the village belongs to I spent my vacation at. Each village in this county (called "Probstei") created straw figures, the best one will get a prize. What you can't see in this picture: From the right the farmer's wife comes holding another piglet in her arms. The idea behind this pigs scene: Very nearby a huge stable for thousands of pigs will be built, and most of the people (mostly farmers themselves!) are against it, so this scene is supposed to be a protest against the conditions those pigs in that stable will be held, and against the inevitable smell emitting from that stable. One village created a giant spider, waiting for prey: http://www.probsteier-herold.de/images/ ... eite13.jpg Oh, wait, below the spider there is already a fly entangled in the net (you can't see it very clearly in this picture, but I saw the original!) The body of the spider was about 1 yard in diameter.

More strawfigures: here, click the thumbnails and enlarge the pics!
