Hello!

Many, many thanks for the umpteen comments to my last blog entry!

So. Today I do experience my first day as a 20-year old. And I have to say, nothing has changed, everything is the same as before.

I didn't celebrate yesterday, although it has been my second "round" birthday and would have been worth it. Nevertheless, at the moment I can hardly get my eyes open, which is the result of too little sleep yesterday and today. I had to work yesterday, came home rather late in the afternoon and got some presents then. Among others there was a new digital camera (Kodak Z650), which will replace noe my old one, with a camera bag and another memory card. And a white, "patched" shawl, which i was very happy about. It's smooth and looks rather snazzy! ... so. And now we are looking forward intensively to christmas. What do you make for presents? (I think there is a thread about that in the forum, is this possible?) Unil now, I haven't even collected half of the presents. That makes me really angry! And the Zeil [size=2][shopping street in the center of Frankfurt -HOT] or the MTZ [Main-Taunus-Zentrum, big shopping mall for the region -HOT] are bursting, no matter at what time (and it was early in the morning!) you want to go shopping. I don't like it, this "packed-like-canned-fish"-feeling. It isn't any wonder that the mail-order companies enjoy this time, because less people like "real" shopping, but more like simply to order using the Internet. After the desaster with the ebay cell phone I won't order anything at ebay and Co....

Jeez, I am really tired.... And so grey under the eyes! It makes me wanna cry! .... Well, perhaps I will be home today afternoon, about 5, 6, 7, 8..... Or even at 11. Not that this ain't anything new. :/ .... If you are deadly tired, you aren't this highly productive and are demotivated!

Helloli heinie!

So, my rings around my eyes are gone, and I am fitter than ever (well, at least to some degree) aaaaand: Tuesday I'll go to the CHIPPENDALES [size=2][stripping boy group, see video on this site: http://www.chippendales.de/cms/ -HOT]! Hahahaaaaa..... Isn't that cool? Meet&greet and then attend the show.... I am lookimg forward to it very much, I even can take three others with me My girls will get sweaty fingers.... Hach, nice. by the way, this has been a birthday present from my internship.

My sister called a little while ago and said, she urgently needed new clothes and asked me, whether we want to go shopping again on Tuesday. Well, tomorrow, so I hope, I can sleep late again, the first time since eeeeeternities.... And then be "canned herring" downtown. Great. :/

So, the telephone rings on and on, the weather is bad, too, totally rainy, totally stressful here, everything....

Christmas stress.

Good Morning! For two weeks today was the first day for a long time, where I could sleep late... Not very good, as the howler (Pinkerton) chose the task to bite off my toes, but... Could stay in bed really long. Of course 6, 7, 8 hours of sleep are principally insufficient for me. From 10, 11 hours on... That is about the optimum. How is it with you? Long sleeper? Sleeping much? Afternoon napper?

Yesterday I have been shopping with my sister. Primarily to look for a nice top she could wear at the Chippendales [size=2][seriously, a group of well-built young men, dancing and stripping! see Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chippendales_dancers -HOT]. Of course we found more than that for her. And I have found something, too! A new winter coat, sort of after-birthday present from my sister. Very thick, heavy quality and keeps incredibly warm! Great.

How do you celebrate the turn of the year? Is even anybody interested? As for my part, I can't stand those 16, 17 year olds, who begin already three days in advance with their firecrackers in broad daylight, and hide these things in letter boxes and cigarette vending machines. Very appalling. And the loud shouting and yelling, when they rejoice or somebody else has been frightened..... :/ [i.e. elderly ladies in their early twenties... -HOT] Well. Each to their own.

So, I will go down now and have a look, what the fridge can do for me.... The howler pulls a t-shirt, which I took off yesterday and put it on the floor, under the bed. Very kind of him.....

Is there anybody out there asking, why I am still at home at past eleven instead of being in the editorial office? Yeahess... In those days it occurred that I stood up in the morning and noticed that my car has a flat tire. Not that this happened before a short while ago... This time it's not on the right but on the front left. With the rim on the street, so to speak. So, what is left to be done? Daddy orders from his work a complet set of new tires - but it takes a while to have them delivered. Until the end of the week. Of course, you will find your way somehow - to the Chippendales... But I have to go to the BILD! It makes me wanna cry. I have such a bad luck, it just can't be real! [size=1] [does she ever think about using public transport, the rapid transit/suburban train and the bus?? It takes less than an hour, and the maximum distance she has to walk is never more than 5 minutes! - Update 12/12: She says, "I have to be mobile during my work" -HOT] At least today I can go shopping, buying some christmas presents, as yesterday I drove to the city for nothing, because I thought, if the shops were open on the first sunday of advent, they would be open on the second [in Germany, shops are usually closed on Sundays. -HOT] . Well. Then I could only stroll over the Christmas Market. But including all things, which are part of it: Pizza [that's a very typical christmas item... -HOT], cotton candy/candy floss, potato pancake with apple puree [hmmm! The first time I wholeheartedly agree! -HOT], hot chocolate with milk foam [no, with whipped cream! -HOT]... and a ginger heart!

Ok. Then I will start.... And hope that there won't be too many people on the road this early....

Hello! God, what kind of stress it is here! Besides my repaired flat tire and the fact that my coffee maker can get me from A to B, thanks god, here the hell broke loose! Additionally Pinkerton moans and doesn't let me sleep at night..... :/

But: I am in the BILD-Zeitung today [size=2][for those, who read a translation of Tessa's Blog for the first time: BILD is Germany's biggest daily newspaper, where she interns at the moment. -HOT] . Title: "My wild night with the Chippendales". As a matter of fact. Hmmm... Somehow.... Strange. When I was in Bild the last time, Lynne stood by my side.

Else I am in chistmas stress, still haven't collected all the presents. Jeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez...... So, else? Well, not very much. Just as usual. Isn't there anybody out there who shares my opinion that you need this stress (be it in the pre-christmas time or on the job) as much as a heart disease? I think, christmas is great, no question. And the internship, too. But so stressful..... So miserably stressful!

At the moment theres is not too much to tell.... If there will be some news, I'll come back to you.... And get todays issue of the BILD..... You will die of laughter. [Hopefully, somebody will scan and post! it in the Forum, so I can translate it, as this regional issue is only available in the area of Frankfurt. -HOT]
